Aaron Shroyer

Aaron Shroyer is the Director of Policy and Advocacy at the National Association of Affordable Housing Lenders (NAAHL).

Aaron most recently served as the special assistant to the president for housing policy at the White House National Economic Council, where he led the development and implementation of the administration’s housing policy agenda. Aaron previously served as a senior policy adviser in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and as a policy adviser at the Domestic Policy Council. Aaron previously worked at the Urban Institute, where he advised governments and foundations on policy and grantmaking strategies related to housing and community development. Aaron began his career working for the City of Kansas City, Missouri.

Aaron earned a bachelor’s degree in government and a master’s degree in leadership and public policy, both from the University of Virginia.
