WASHINGTON, January 27, 2015 – U.S. Treasury Department official and long-time community development policy leader Benson F. “Buzz” Roberts has been selected as the new President and CEO of the National Association of Affordable Housing Lenders (NAAHL).
Roberts, currently Director of the Office of Small Business, Community Development and Housing Policy at the Treasury Department, succeeds Judy Kennedy, who has led NAAHL since 1998.
Roberts served on NAAHL’s Board of Directors from 1997 to 2010, representing the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), where he was Senior Vice President for Policy and Program Development. He joined the Treasury in 2011.
