NAAHL Urges Senate to Include Bipartisan AFFORD Act in FY27 NDAA

As the U.S. Senate works to finalize the Fiscal Year 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), NAAHL sent a letter to Senate leadership expressing strong support for including the bipartisan Access to Fair Financing for Opportunity and Resilient Development (AFFORD) Act, S. 3940.

The legislation would strengthen the community development sector by enhancing transparency at the CDFI Fund and giving CDFIs additional tools, including added liquidity for CDFI loans, to help them support more affordable housing, small business, and community development projects nationwide.
