NAAHL Welcomes New Board Members

Leaders from Citi, Northern Trust, and Rocky Mountain Community Reinvestment Corporation will contribute their expertise to NAAHL

Washington, DC – (July 10, 2024) The National Association of Affordable Housing Lenders (NAAHL) is excited to announce the three newest members to its Board of Directors: Brandee McHale of Citi, Edward Wood of Northern Trust, and Christopher Jensen of Rocky Mountain Community Reinvestment Corporation.

“We are honored to welcome Brandee, Edward, and Christopher to NAAHL’s board,” said Doug Schaeffer, Chair of the NAAHL Board of Directors. “This new cohort of board members brings decades of experience in affordable housing finance and a deep commitment to NAAHL’s mission.”

NAAHL’s Board of Directors is made up of executive and senior leadership from banks, CDFIs, and other lenders – embodying the unique and impactful role of public private partnerships in affordable housing finance and community development investments.

“Brandee, Edward, and Christopher’s leadership and knowledge will be invaluable as NAAHL continues to work with policymakers, practitioners, and partners to secure quality affordable housing and community investment across the nation,” said NAAHL President and CEO Sarah Brundage.

The new board members join NAAHL at a critical time when the need for innovative finance solutions, investments in housing supply, and commitment to racial equity is more urgent than ever.
